This picture was taken on February 29th, 2020. It was my last trip before 'you know what'. We were still in the 'wash your hands singing happy birthday phase'. The 'two weeks to flatten the curve' would come only three weeks later. Anyway, I had some business meetings in London the following week, so I decided to spend the weekend in what was my favorite city in the world.

This sign on Piccadilly caught my attention at the time and I remember feeling something weird when I saw it. Maybe this guy had been holding this sign for years or decades, I have no clue about it, but when I saw it a strong intuition told me it was really time to wake up.

In the picture you can also see two young men taking a selfie with the sign on the back, laughing and mocking an obviously serious warning for anyone paying attention - but maybe not so obvious at that time for some people. Like the kind of person who makes fun of what they don't understand.

My thought when I took this picture was: 'One day, this two men will not be laughing at this.'

Coincidence or not (probably not), this event took place on a Saturday, way before I started respecting the Creator's holy day.

My note to self - which I share on this 'pre-Shabbat' afternoon: 'Listen to the madman!'

Shabbat Shalom and check out 'The Prophet's Song' from Queen below.

The Prophet's Song - Queen (Lyrics on link)

Oh-oh, children of the land

Love is still the answer, take my hand

The vision fades, a voice I hear

"Listen to the madman"

Ooh, but still I fear and still I dare not

Laugh at the madman
